Ulterworld

Ulterworld is a research project initiated as part of the MA in Digital Direction at the Royal College of Art. It reinterprets the ruins of an archeological house in Dougga, Tunisia. Based on accurate data such using measurements and 3D scans, an invisible layer named 'ulterworld' overlays the physical space with its digital representation. The 'ulterworld' represents the foreign vision of a house full of memories. The project explores themes of disorientation, fragmented identity and colonialism through forensic investigations and space narratives.
